Why Aquinas Academy?
Christian concept of the human person - We believe man is created in the image and likeness of God with a supernatural destiny in Christ. As a Catholic school, we believe that Christ is the model for student, staff, family, and every human being.
Foundation - Students learn phonics, math, grammar, reading, Spanish, art & music from the beginning, along with solid faith formation, knowing Christ and becoming model citizens.
Integral Formation - We offer a balanced formation in academics, faith formation, character development, physical education and apostolic outreach. We believe that only when every facet of the person reaches its best does one achieve one's full human potential.
National Affiliation - We are one of more than 30 schools across the nation guided by the National Consultants for Education (NCE), which serves independent Catholic schools in the areas of Curriculum, Teacher Formation, School Operations and Administration and Consulting Services.
Class Size - The small class size allows "one-on-one" attention, hands on math and science and quality formation for the students.
Environment - Our 68 acres allow for growth on-site and our new and large facility offers a safe, secure, bright and cheerful atmosphere.
Virtue of the Month - The "Virtue of the Month" program nurtures a child's growth in holiness first by educating the heart; so that it may come to know, love and pursue all that is good, true and beautiful. Virtue is taught in a way, that is practical, so that imitation can follow. The more a child chooses the "good" this builds endurance, and endurance - tried virtue and tried virtue -strength of character. As Christ is the model of all virtue the "Virtue of the Month" program, teaches the child to look to Christ and to count on Him for the grace to follow Him in our daily life.
Motto -"Semper Altius," meaning "Always Higher", inspires us to continuously challenge ourselves to grow and improve and aspire to be the very best of who we can be.
Disposition - Dedicated to Christ as our model and with the help of His Mother Mary, the staff practices charity and sincerity in a positive, loving and dedicated manner.
